The History
June 13, 1994:
Christ Community Church was birthed with a desire to build a "community" of believers, willing to reach out to people from all walks of life. The Lord richly blessed this work for six years under the leadership of our pastor, Lane Busbee. The church developed a fervent prayer and outreach ministry, and grew stronger in faith and moved from the location of 45th ave. to our current location on Hwy 39 North. We purchased 6 acres in the Briarwood area and built our new building. In 2001 we had our first service. 2 years later we were able to purchase an additional 22 acres with a 3 acre lake. We are excited for the future of our children to occupy every part of the property God has allowed us to have for the Kingdom of God.
Our growth continues today, and we stand in awe of God's provision and faithfulness.
The Mission
At Christ Community Church you will find us "Building Bridges and Tearing Down Barriers". Following the example of Jesus in the scripture, it is our mission to reach out to all people without regard to age, race, religion, ethnic background and past or present life circumstances. By tearing down the barriers that separate us from each other, and bridging those relationships, it is our prayer that all people may come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
